Members of Pacific Group have consulted for major relief
organizations in the design and execution of programs
for the ease of reaching the needy in health, food, and
materials. Our studies have shown the two rates of religious
organizations- Islam and Christianity are important avenues.
In all cases people trust relief and other materials when
approached through churches and mosques. In relief distribution,
for example, Pacific Consultants know what easy and simple
routes there are to reach the flood, famine, and drought
victims in the 3rd world.
What routes are credible when dealing with poor victims?
The Red Cross and several other agencies would do better
jobs if they went into church premises to access victims
and the poor. Churches and mosques have tentacles and
branches in the remote villages and far flung hamlets
of these countries. If the objective is helping the
poor they are more associated with religious bodies
than with government officials- who stay closest with
the administrative cities and towns. |
